Rising temperatures
It was quite a challenge to get used to the humidity of Montreal, along with the heat, but I got used to it near the end of my trip. It was 30 degrees Celsius everyday while I was there, and the humidex was about 35 degrees. The funny thing is that when the hot temperature set a record in Montreal, I was freezing in Quebec City. To think I could have been there when a new record was set and I was only three hours away!
I do appreciate the humidity though. Now that I'm back in Calgary, I have felt so dry and my throat hurts every night. And yet my city is facing flooding right now from all the rain. I have to admit that the dreary weather here makes me wish I was in 28 degree Montreal right now.
