On a mission
I've realized this year that it's been mostly girls that are interested in short-term missions at my school (as well as in the major). My friend attributes it to girls being "more spiritual and able to hear God's call better" but he's definitely joking about that. One of the teams we're sending has a ratio of about 1 guy to 10 girls. The guy sure doesn't mind but he thinks it's pretty bizarre too. Perhaps it's just because there are almost twice as many females in the college as there are males.
